Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
We’ve based our Phase I work on the ASTM Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessments since the first edition (E 1527-93), and we stay current with each new release. C&H Environmental will prepare your Phase II assessment (sampling, data evaluation, reporting, and recommendations) in addition to the Phase I report.
Environmental Impact Reports/Statement
We create the table of contents for your impact report from the topics in the municipal ordinance (or regulations). This helps speed up the review process, of course, but it also keeps us on track and focused on the issues of concern for that particular project or activity. From the beginning, you will know if there are any topics that need to be addressed by other professionals (e.g., traffic, demographics). The final product will address all the topics in one document, including summaries and references to other reports when appropriate.
Are you an owner or operator of an industrial establishment and you plan to close or transfer ownership or operations? If so, you are required to notify the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. After the submittal of the notice, an owner or operator of an industrial establishment is required to obtain a no further action letter from NJDEP or NJDEP approval of a remedial action workplan or remediation agreement before closing operations or transferring the ownership or operations at your facility.
